 Day 01:
DELHI
On arrival transfer to the hotel. After breakfast,proceed for a full day site seeing in Delhi. The visit begins with the impressive Jama masjid,built by emperor Shajahan,and the Red fort in old Delhi. Afer lunch visit Humayun's tomb,dedicated to th second mughal emperor Humayun,constuced by his second wife.This magnificient monument is considered as the first step towards Tajmahal and also the first garden tomb in purely persian style ever constructed in India. Later proceed to Qutub minar and Quwatatul Islam mosque,built by the sultan Qutub–ud–din Aibak during late 12th century,and the colonial city of New Delhi.India gate,Parliament house etc. (Drive past only ).Dinner and over night in Delhi.
Day 02:
AGRA
Early morning chek out and departure to Agra with packed breakfast by train ( Shatabdi express,dep. 06.00hrs).Full day site seeing in Agra. The visit includes Tajmahal,and Agra fort. If time permits also visit,the tomb of Itimad – ud-Daula, in the hotel and lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant in Agra during the site seeing. Dinner and over night in Agra.
Day 03:
KHAJURAHO
After early morning breakfast,( or with packed breakfast )check out from the hotel to board the train to Jhansi.On arrival in Jhansi, drive directly to Orchha ( about 16 km.) to visit the impressive fort,Jahangiri mahal,and the beautiful Chhatties built by the local royal dynasties. Lunch in Orchha. After lunch drive to Khajuraho(about 160 km).On arrival,check in to the hotel and relax. Evening sound & light show of Khajuraho in the temple complex,followed by lunch in the hotel. Dinner and over night in Khajuraho.
Day 04:
KHAJURAHO
After breakfast morning tour of mind blowinng, Lakshmaneshwar,Kandharia Mahadeo and other temples of Khajuraho. Lunch in the hotel. After lunch a short excursion to the Ranefalls,in the jungle(36 km).En route lot of antilopes and birds are regularly sighted.Rane falls is one of the largest water falls in India and the beauty is over whelming,specially in the rainy season. Dinner and over night in Khajuraho.
Day 05:
VARANASI
Leasurly breakfast and morning free. Check out at noon,lunch in the hotel and afternoon departure to Satna(120km),to board the train to Varanasi. Dinner and over night on board.
Optional : Early morning excursion to Panna tiger reserve can be organised.Afternoon departure to Satna to board the train to Varanasi.
Day 06:
VARANASI
Early morning arrival in Varanasi,transfer to the hotel and breakfast.Morning to relax.After lunch departure from the hotel to visit the holy site of Sarnath,where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon.After the visit,dirctly proceed to the Dasawamedh ghat,to enjoy a walk tour along the bank of the river Ganges and experience different activities.Stay back in the Dasaswamedh ghat to enjoy the evening ceremoney of Arti.Dinner and over night in Varanasi.
Day 07:
ONWARD DESTINATION
Varanasi– Delhi by afternoon flight...
Very early morning departure to the ghat once again for a boat ride in the river to enjoy the morning acivities on the bank of the river during the Sunrise.Later back to the hotel for breakfast and relax.Afternoon flight to Delhi for onward connection.
