Day 01:
KOLKATA
On Arrival Kolkata transfer to Hotel. Later, tour of Kolkata city visiting Victoria Memorial –The majestic Colonial Structure in memory of Queen Victoria showcasing Raj Memorabilia, the Indian Museum- the oldest and largest Museum in India, etc. Ovenight at Kolkata.
Day 02:
VISHNUPUR
Morning departure for Aantpur, intricately carved terracotta temples and then proceed to Kamarpukur, the birth place of the Indian sage Ramakrishna. Visit Temples have lunch and then proceed to Vishnupur. Overnight at Vishnupur.
Day 03:
VISHNUPUR
Morning tour of Vishnupur town, visit the terracotta temples showing the best of Terracotta art in Bengal carved on the Unique Bengal architecture of Bricks and stones. Three different styles, Shyam Rai, Jore Bangla and Madan Mohan (all in Terracotta), Kalachand, Radheshyam (in Laterrite stone) and the extraordinary form of the Rashmancha are the highlights of this temple town.
After lunch,The tour is dedicated to the local handicrafts,such as,making of baluchari silk saries and Dasavatara playing cards(Bengal's own playing card,almost forgotten though still played and made in Vishnupur,made out of paper pulp and cloth).Over night at Vishnupur.
Day 04:
VISHNUPUR
Excursion to Panchmura craft village famous for its terracotta horses and elephants and Bahulara Siddheswar Shiva Temple which is well known for its unique architectural style and exquisitely ornamented temple walls. Overnight stay at Vishnupur.
Day 05:
KOLKATA
After breakfast transfer to Kolkata, en route visiting Jayrambati the birthplace of Sarada Devi, the consort of Sri Ramakrishna. Overnight stay at Kolkata.
Day 06:
ONWARD DESTINATION
